Everybody knows that smoking is terrible for your health. It can cause so many different types of cancers and cause many problems. What most guys don’t realize is that one of the long term side effects of smoking is erectile dysfunction.
I’m going to be talking about how smoking causes this to happen, the long term effects, and what you can do to reverse it. Read more to find out.
Why Does Smoking Cause Erectile Dysfunction?
It all comes down to circulation. The longer you smoke the greater effect that smoking has on your circulatory and cardiovascular systems. When you smoke a significant amount for years the effect starts to compound and some men then develop ED and can’t get an erection. Some men can only achieve half an erection. This is because the penis is no longer capable of receiving oxygenated blood flow.
Long Term Effects:
If you are a smoker and you think that this is what it is that is causing your erectile dysfunction it is not too late. Keep in mind that the longer that you do not address the problem the worse it will get and the harder it will be to correct. If it is not corrected there is a chance you may not be able to ever achieve full function again after years and years of smoking without the help of pharmaceutical drugs – which often cause more harm than good.
How You Can Fix ED:
I can imagine how hard it is to quit when you have been smoking your entire life, but if you suspect that this is the cause of your erectile dysfunction, you really do have to quit.
It can only be reversed if you stop smoking cigarettes and start leading a healthy life including 1. a diet full of fresh fruit and vegetables 2. cardiovascular exercise and 3. a penis health plan that is tailored to treating ED. You can beat this naturally but it will take a lot of determination and time. Once you hit your goal though, you will wonder what you were missing!
